How we find casino sister sites for NZ players
The short version
Our test for a sister is simple: one company operates both casinos, and we can show which company it is. To check that, we read three things from each casino's pages for NZ players: the operator, the licence and whether the terms leave NZ players out.
Our team tests these casinos and checks every fact in our articles before they are published. Articles are ordered by family, not by welcome offer, and each of our sister sites articles lists the sources behind its facts.
Who runs each casino
The operator is the company that runs the casino. We take it from the line a casino prints on its own pages, usually in the footer or the terms, naming the company that manages the brand. Jackpot City, Lucky Nugget, Mummy's Gold, Ruby Fortune and Spin Palace each name Baytree Interactive Ltd. Casimba's home page names White Hat Gaming Limited.
We do not treat a parent group as the operator. Two casinos under one parent group are sisters only if their operator lines match.
The licence
Each casino's terms or footer name a licence and the regulator behind it. The article gives that licence as the casino states it, with its source, so you can see where it comes from.
Jackpot City, Mummy's Gold and Spin Palace name the Alderney Gambling Control Commission, licence 155 C1. Lucky Nugget names the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, licence 01059. Ruby Fortune lists both licence numbers, 01059 and 155 C1. Casimba names the Malta Gaming Authority, licence MGA/B2C/370/2017.
Jackpot City and Lucky Nugget share an operator but not a licence, so we never assume one from the other.
Is a casino open to NZ players?
Casinos list the countries they cannot take players from in their terms. For each casino we read that list, check that New Zealand is not on it, and record the result in the article. A list that is not exhaustive needs a closer look: Casimba's terms say the restricted territories include, but are not limited to, the countries named, so for Casimba we also read its NZ pages.
This is a reading of the terms, not legal advice, and we claim no legal clearance for any casino.
Every fact has a date
Each casino page is read on a date, and that date is shown at the top of the article. The dates differ by article: Jackpot City's was checked on 24 September 2026 and Lucky Nugget's on 30 September 2026.
Operators, licences and terms can change quickly, so a fact is only as current as its date. Check the casino's terms before you decide.
What we leave out
Other sites sometimes call casinos sisters without an operator line to show for it. If we cannot find the same operator line on the casino's pages, we say so and leave the casino off the list.
A casino left off the list is not a casino we call unsafe. It means only that we could not show an operator shared with the casino you searched for.
If you think we are wrong
If you think we are wrong about an operator, a licence or a restricted-country list, email us at info@sistersite.nz, the address on our contact page. Tell us the casino, the article and what you saw.
Send the page that shows it. If it shows we are wrong, we read the casino's page again, correct the article and give it a new checked date.
